The Official Heisman Trophy Podcast Launches With Archie Griffin Interview And More

Interviews with two-time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin and longtime Heisman Trustee Jim Corcoran highlight the debut episode of The Official Heisman Trophy Podcast, which was released on Wednesday (Aug. 23).

The Heisman Trophy Podcast will stream every Wednesday during the college football season and through the Heisman Trophy ceremony. It is hosted, co-produced, edited, and engineered by Chris Huston. Paul Goldberg is the executive producer and editor.

The conversation with Griffin features an in-depth discussion on his unprecedented and unequalled back-to-back Heisman Trophies that he won in 1974 and 1975 while a star running back at Ohio State.

The interview with Corcoran is the first of two chats with the Heisman Trustee that will be featured on the podcast. It digs into the role of the Heisman Trophy Trust, its charitable mission and much more.

Additionally, the first episode includes a feature on how the Heisman Trophy also creates huge benefits for the winning players’ high schools. Our story includes conversations with head coaches and representatives from four high schools, spotlighting the “Heisman effect,” on their schools.

You can listen to The Official Heisman Trophy Podcast on Spotify as well as Heisman.com. It will soon be up on Apple Music and anywhere you listen to your favorite podcasts. You will also be able to find clips of the show on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube at @HeismanTrophy.
