Heisman Trophy Trust Unveils Newly Refreshed Heisman Memorial Trophy Logo
The modernized design aligns with the Trust’s “More Than a Trophy” campaign which highlights its charitable work
New York, NY, July 10, 2023 – The Heisman Trophy Trust today revealed its refreshed Heisman Memorial Trophy logo in advance of the 2023 College Football season. The modernized logo aligns with the Trust’s “More Than A Trophy” campaign, which is designed to raise awareness of the Trust’s charitable initiatives outside of awarding the Heisman Memorial Trophy.
“Our refreshed logo kicks off an exciting new chapter for the Heisman Trophy Trust,” said Heisman Trophy Trust President Michael Comerford. “This refresh is a cleaner version of the previous logo and gives us a chance to highlight the important charitable work the Heisman Trophy Trust has been doing for the last 20+ years. So, while it’s not a full overhaul, we feel it’s a more modern version that better represents the Heisman Trophy Trust and our mission.”
The Heisman Trophy Trust’s mission is to grow the legacy and preserve the integrity of the Heisman Memorial Trophy, which is annually awarded to the outstanding college football player in the United States whose performance epitomizes great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.
Beyond awarding the trophy, the Trust has a charitable mission to support and fund both youth development programs in underserved communities and the Heisman High School Scholarship Program which recognizes community-minded scholar athletes. Additionally, the Trust annually presents the Heisman Humanitarian Award to outstanding individuals in the sports world who further the Heisman vision. The Trust’s goal is to harness the power of the Heisman Memorial Trophy’s legacy of athletic excellence to positively impact our nation’s youth and provide more equitable opportunities for underserved communities.
