Heisman Announces New Senior Leadership Team

25-year Heisman veteran Tim Henning elevated alongside addition of three senior industry leaders: Adrienne Scherenzel (Chicago Bulls), Charlie Widdoes (Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment) and Kristen Condo (Fenway Sports Management)
Heisman CEO, Jeff Price, today announced the creation of a new senior leadership team that will guide the next era of growth, purpose, and impact for the storied Heisman brand. The promotion of Tim Henning, together with the appointments of Kristen Condo, Adrienne Scherenzel, and Charlie Widdoes, mark a significant milestone as Heisman expands its year-round platform, strengthens its Foundation, and advances its mission to drive excellence and empowerment for young people through sports.
Henning, a 25-year Heisman veteran, has been promoted to Senior Vice President (SVP), Operations and Strategy. Condo will serve as SVP, Brand and Partnership Marketing following her role at Fenway Sports Management. Scherenzel joins as SVP, Foundation, coming from the Chicago Bulls. Widdoes becomes SVP, Content after his tenure with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment.
“It is a significant day in the history of Heisman as we introduce the senior leadership team that will lead the next era of growth and impact for our iconic brand,” said Price. “Long-time Heisman stalwart Tim Henning is receiving a well-deserved promotion. His expertise and leadership will be critical as we continue to build Heisman’s legacy. Condo’s experience in strategic brand development will help grow our partnership portfolio with a purpose-driven approach. Scherenzel’s deep philanthropic experience will guide our expanding Heisman Foundation, and Widdoes’ innovative storytelling skills will help transform Heisman into a year-round platform. Together, this is a dream team that will help drive meaningful impact for our brand and its historic presence in college football.”
Henning has been part of the Heisman team for more than a quarter century, having started with the organization in 2000 prior to graduating from New York University. Throughout his tenure, he has played a key role across virtually every facet of the Heisman operation. He will continue to lead the execution of the annual Heisman Weekend and other major events, oversee Heisman Winner and college football relations, the Heisman licensing program, and growth strategy initiatives.
“I’m deeply appreciative of the opportunity to continue contributing to an organization that has meant so much to me,” said Henning. “I’m truly excited to take on this new role at such an important and transformational time for the organization and look forward to working alongside our fantastic new leadership team, the amazing community of Heisman Winners, and the institutions and conferences in college football to unlock the full potential of this legendary brand.”
Condo joins from Fenway Sports Management, where she served as SVP, Partnership Solutions, overseeing brand and partnership strategy. She has spent the majority of her career
leading corporate partnerships and brand-building initiatives across the sports industry, spanning both professional and collegiate athletics. Condo earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Sport Management from West Virginia University.
“The Heisman brand carries incredible history and prestige, but what excites me most is the opportunity to help shape its future,” said Condo. “Even with such a storied legacy, there’s real potential to evolve the brand and how we connect more deeply with fans, especially alongside a team that’s committed to making a difference. That paired with the ability to build meaningful, purpose-driven partnerships and use our platform to drive lasting impact makes this truly a special opportunity.”
Scherenzel has spent the past seven years with the Chicago Bulls, leading community engagement and Chicago Bulls Charities. Prior to her time in the NBA, she held leadership roles in public education with the School District of Philadelphia and Chicago Public Schools. A former track and field athlete, she graduated from Syracuse University and later earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University.
“The opportunity to join the Heisman family is one I am honored and inspired to step into,” said Scherenzel. “The chance to use this iconic brand to open doors for high school athlete leaders and to grow the Foundation’s reach into youth sports communities nationwide is exactly the kind of work that can create real impact for the next generation.”
Widdoes joins Heisman after five seasons as VP, Content with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (NBA Nets and WNBA Liberty). He previously held content and digital media leadership roles
with the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks. Widdoes previously worked at MLB Productions and MLB Network, following his graduation from Connecticut College.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join the Heisman team as we embark on the next era of this iconic brand,” said Widdoes. “Between Heisman Trophy winners, Heisman Hopefuls and the Trust’s charitable mission, we have an incredible storytelling opportunity to celebrate the excellence and empowerment that have defined Heisman for generations.”
As Heisman continues to evolve beyond its historic annual ceremony, the organization is building a modern, year-round platform focused on leadership, storytelling, strategic partnerships, community engagement, and the extraordinary network of Heisman Trophy Winners. With a strengthened leadership team and a long-term vision centered on driving impact through excellence and empowerment, Heisman is positioning itself for significant growth and an expanded role in shaping the future of sports, leadership, and ultimately the Heisman legacy.
