NEW YORK, New York (12 September 2002) - ESPN's Len Pasquarelli reported yesterday that 2001 Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch has decided to retire from football. Crouch, 23, said injuries were holding him back from playing at his accustomed level. He's going to return to his home in Omaha, Nebraska.
